Les Deux Magots
The Saint-Germain corner terrace since 1885
In brief
A café opened in 1885, named after the two Chinese figures in its main room. It's remembered as the place where Sartre and Beauvoir sat almost daily after the war, with Hemingway among the regulars. The corner terrace looks onto both the boulevard and the church of Saint-Germain.

Good to know
- The terrace is pricey; coffee at the counter costs less.
