Bombay all day, in an old bank building
In brief
On St Andrew Square, in a former bank with a ballroom-scale interior, serving a menu drawn from Bombay's old Irani cafes. It isn't a dinner restaurant so much as an all-day room, opening at eight for breakfast and running to midnight. Queuing is part of it — they hand out free chai while you wait.
Compiled from public sources — not my own note.
Good to know
- After six, only groups of six or more can book; everyone else queues.
- At breakfast and lunch there's little or no wait.
- Evening and weekend waits run thirty to sixty minutes.
